Hello, happy 2025!
The new year is always good timing for self-reflection and a fresh start. Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the Yoga Sutras teaching that when we’re in a state of yoga (when we practice yoga consistently), we are able to perceive clearly. There’s something special about practicing yoga consistently, it makes everything feel a little easier. With the start of this new year, let us re-commit to our personal well-being. Take a moment to reflect on what is working well and what you might do differently to heighten your wellness. For your yoga practice, think about what “consistent” means to you. How many days of yoga per week do you need to practice to feel that you’re in a state of yoga?
This month’s practice calendar kicks off with “Getting Back on Track” and includes a lot of shorter videos to support a successful start to the new year. For this month’s live workshop, I’ve planned a gentle intensity mindfulness class to infuse your practice with a fresh perspective. I hope you can join me on Sunday, January 12, at 10:30 a.m. central time! I’ll post the Zoom link in the next few days.
Happy New Year!
