A lot of yoga teachers claim to teach yoga for “everybody,” but when you try their classes you might find that they’re too fast, or they might expect you to be more flexible, or they’re meant for people with skinnier bodies.

I teach yoga in a way that really is very adaptable and accessible for people with all kinds of bodies. I show you how to simplify and how to increase intensity, so that you can adjust the practice to your particular needs. Your yoga practice should provide a bit of challenge, but it should also be comfortable!

There are hundreds of yoga videos on my YouTube channel that you can practice with absolutely free. If you subscribe to my channel (which is also free!) and turn on notifications, YouTube will let you know every time I upload a new video. And you subscribing helps me, too, because it signals to YouTube that I produce good content and, in turn, they share my videos with more people!

I remember attending my first yoga class in1999. I felt so nervous and out-of-place. Everyone was so fit and seemed to know exactly what to do. I felt lost and uncoordinated. Nevertheless, I persevered.

A few years later I attended my first 200 hour yoga teacher training, and because of my introduction to yoga, I knew I wanted to teach a different kind of yoga - yoga that would feel accessible and welcoming to everybody.

I opened my studio, Round Rock Yoga, in 2010. We offer yoga tha't’s accessible for people with all kinds of bodies, in an inclusive and welcoming space. I completed an additional 1000 hours of training in yoga teaching and yoga therapy at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. I learned how to customize yoga to address specific needs and I use this knowledge in every class, private session, and video I teach.

My Yoga for Bigger Bodies videos have received over a million views on YouTube, and my channel has been recognized as Best Yoga Channel by Healthline.com, Self magazine, Forks Over Knives, and more.
